Identity Finder is the application used to meet University initiatives to identify the location of all electronic files and forms having sensitive information (Social Security number, medical record number, etc). Once this information has been located and identified it must be managed in accordance with University policies and initiatives such as:
The tool assists with scanning desktops and laptops for the following:
- Social Security numbers
- Bank Account and Credit Card numbers
- Medical Records Numbers (MRNs)
