To activate your new HIT Phone please carefully follow the instructions listed for your phone's carrier.

IMPORTANT

When activating your new phone please make sure your old device has been turned off.

If you have an existing line that is receiving an upgrade, to activate you can email T-Mobile/Sprint at ESSRState@T-Mobile.com

What to do if your phone does not activate on its own.

1. From the home screen, tap Phone.
2. On the keypad, dial ##UPDATE# (##873283#) and tap the Call button.

3. Tap OK.The handset will search for carrier updates and install them. 4. Tap OK.
5. The device is now updated.

If you try to perform an UPDATE and it failed please proceed and perform a CLEAR

  1. Tap Phone.

  2. Tap the keypad if necessary.

  3. Type ##CLEAR# (##25327#) and tap the Call button.

  4. At the Resetting Subscriber Settings prompt, tap OK.

  5. Allow the radio to reset.

  • If the phone is active in the billing system it will activate, tap Dismiss at the activation prompt.
  • If the phone is not active in the billing system tap Ignore at the not activated prompt

IMPORTANT

When activating your new phone please make sure your old device has been turned off.

The device will auto-activate when the user turns the phone on for the first time. Please note auto-activation will time out if the phone was not turned on in 10 days. If you need help activating a Verizon phone after 10 days have passed, please contact Verizon Tech Support at 800-922-0204.
