You have likely seen or used these charging stations in the Medical Center. They receive a lot of use and are subject to wear and tear. While the cables are ruggedized, they are not impervious to damage.
Should the charging cables become frayed or damaged in any way, please discontinue use of the charger. This rule applies to electrical cables of any type.
If you encounter a frayed or damaged electrical cable, immediately discontinue use and contact HIT Help Desk at 434.924.5334 for a replacement charging station. Frayed electrical cables are a danger to the connected device and your safety.
