Website hosting and publishing tools for content available to the general public and Health System Intranet sites.

The Web Development Center (WDC) offers web hosting services - a place that a department can use to quickly compose and publish information online - to any entity connected with the Health System. The cost of providing these tools are covered as a part of IT overhead, so departments have access to publish content without having to purchase services.

The WDC is responsible for security, publishing and technology standards for content produced by Health System entities, either for internal or external customers. (Subject to the discretion of the Chief Information and Technology Officer.) This allows the Health System to provide publishing services at an efficient price point while protecting confidential information, brand standards and web technology standards.

Workshops are offered weekly to assist web editors. Currently, several hundred departments make use of this service across the enterprise.
